The Wheaton French Market is one of the best things to do in quaint downtown Wheaton from spring all the way into fall. Every Saturday morning, from 8am-2pm, April –November, you can enjoy perusing all that’s offered here. This market is more extensive than traditional farmers' markets, although they have plenty of fresh produce too! Here, you’ll find vendors selling everything from handmade soaps to jewelry and fresh donuts to locally roasted coffee.

One of the joys of living in the Midwest is the access we have to amazing produce. Buying locally grown food, directly from farmers, is not only a wise choice, but it’s also more delicious! Seasonal produce is available every time the market is open.

After you’ve stocked up on your fruits and vegetables, stop at the other vendors for yummy baked bread, or freshly popped kettle corn for a mid-afternoon treat. There’s unique baked goods, including chocolate dipped shortbread and fruit tarts, making it the perfect place to shop if you have a special event to prepare for in the week ahead.

This is a great place to shop for gifts too! Local artisans are here selling beautifyl pottery, unique canvas art, specialty jewelry, and even potted plants.

What better way to start the weekend than to shop locally from amazing and talented vendors. Grab an iced tea and enjoy!
