There is still something both magical and mysterious about the way an aircraft lifts off the ground and soars through the air above us! If you have an interest in aviation, or if you have a young one who does, you need to plan a visit to Pilot Pete’s, in Schaumburg, for dinner! You’ll get a first-class meal and an unrivaled view!

Located adjacent to Schaumburg’s regional airport, there isn’t a shortage of things to look at when you visit Pilot Pete’s, making it especially friendly for kids. You can watch planes taxi, take off and land while you dine, and if it happens to be a slow day at the airport, take a look at the décor! You’ll spy antique planes, memorabilia, and more. Even the waiting area is decked out with actual first class airline seats!

The view is great, but the food holds its own as well. The menu holds evertything from fresh and delicious salads to more indulgent favorites like lobster nachos! The portions are large, so come hungry! This place is a perfect one-stop shop for great food and entertainment-especially for the aviation enthusiast in your life.

Fly in soon and tell us about it on Instagram! Use the hashtag #outandaboutwithcompass. Enjoy!
