Chicago is a first-class city with an abundance of things to do! Some of that fun, however, can come with a hefty price tag. But don’t fret! If you’re searching for a budget-friendly outing, check out The Chicago Architecture Foundation’s Open House Chicago, held this weekend, October 15-16! It's can't miss event and it's completely free.

Some of the most fascinating buildings in various parts of the city open their doors this weekend during this architecture festival to offer a behind-the-scenes peek into some of Chicago’s most beloved structures. If you’ve ever walked by a building and wished you could step inside, this is the event for you! Over 200 locations, stretching from the north side to the south side, from mansions to towering skyscrapers, ornate theaters to private clubs and office buildings, are showing off all their beauty and charm at no cost.  It's an amazing opportunity, and a way to get better acquainted with the city's history.
