Everyone loves a good deal, and when you combine a unique and inexpensive find with the art of bargaining, it deepens the appreciation because you really had to work for it! Chicago combines this experience while celebrating its culture and tradition at the weekly Maxwell Street Market!

Each Sunday, vendors, musicians, and shoppers fill Des Plaines street from Taylor to Polk, filling the area with tables chocked full with all sorts of amazing things. From jewelry to antique tools, and furniture to rare collectibles, there’s something that will catch you eye, and you'll likely get an amazing deal.  The shopping is a highlight, but so is the food! Some of the city’s best Latin food is served at the market. You may also see live performances and music too, making for a truly festive and fun celebration!

The market is held year round, but spring and summer are particularly fun times to visit. Go explore, eat and enjoy this diverse city!
