We've been experiencing an unseasonably warm month, which offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy some outdoor fun!  The next time you're looking for a way to enjoy being outside, check out the Pappajohn Sculpture Park in Des Moines!

Since 2009, the Pappajohn Sculpture Park downtown has been making the art medium of sculpture accessible to the public, offering visitors a unique experience celebrating art and design. Displayed throughout the park you’ll find the artwork of 22 of the world’s most treasured artists.

Celebrating the culture and community of Des Moines, the park has been designed to be friendly to pedestrians, making it the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll, while taking in some amazing sights, both in the displayed sculptures and the general design and landscaping.

The park is over 4 acres in size, so allow plenty of time to see it all! You’ll find spots to observe and contemplate the artwork in quiet solitude, or you may choose to take part in a guided tour, which are offered from April to the end of October. However you choose to see the park, you’ll not be disappointed! Enjoy!
