Everyone enjoys a tall stack of pancakes with maple syrup for breakfast, but very few of us understand exactly what it takes to get that delicious drizzle from the tree to our plates! It's currently sugaring season, which makes it the perfect time to learn! Head over to the Indian Creek Nature Center this weekend for their Maple Syrup Festival!North Park Village Nature Center (2).png

At the festival you'll be able to see syrup making demostrations- from harvest to the end product, while you hear from experts on the process. Enjoy live music, time in the fresh air, and best of all, a pancake and breakfast sausage link with syrup that's been handcrafted at the Nature Center! It's the perfect treat to enjoy while you learn!  While you're there you can also enjoy the trails, and take home your own bottle of syrup as a souvenier. When you use it at home, you'll remember the festival with fondness!

Visit the website for ticket information and more details about the day.  It's the perfect way to spend a day outdoors with family celebrating spring! Enjoy!
