If you like craft beer and quirky humor, the Drinking and Writing Theater, located in a back room of Haymarket Pub and Brewery in the West Loop, is sure to show you a good time! Haymarket is an established microbrewery and pub with a rich history. The pub itself offers fun events like brewery tours, live music, holiday themed events, and even story slams throughout the year, in addition to great food and drinks.

The theater, however, is a newer addition to the pub, and they work to combine two passions: theater and written word and great, small-batch brews.  What started as a 2-man, humorous radio show, has now become a unique stage show, typically lasting between 60-75 minutes, and has everything from live music and singing, to ventriloquism! The radio show still exists and can be listened to online via their website, but if you’re looking for a fun night out that's anything but ordinary with the company of other craft-brew lovers who enjoy a good stage performance, you’ll definitely want to pay a visit to the D&W Theater. Cheers!
