With Christmas in our rearview, it's time to set our sights on celebrating New Year's Eve! It's a time when we can reflect on 2016 and ring in 2017 with friends and family. The night is even more fun when you can get out of the house and ring in the new year in a festive environment!
Sometimes the best way to celebrate is with a good laugh, and thankfully, there are plenty of amazing clubs in Chicagoland which offer the opportunity to kick back and smile! These local comedy clubs are affordable and amusing way to spend the big night, and will leave you feeling lighter and more connected to those you attend with. If you can't get out and about this weekend, these theaters are a great option for a date night some time soon! Have fun!
Westside Improv Sudio: Located downtown Wheaton, this improv studio offers shows of Friday and Saturday nights, and they also offer classes and performance opportunities for those learning the craft of improv. It's a hidden gem!

This is a free, 21+ show starting at 8 p.m., and features some of the best comedians from Chicagoland and beyond. On NYE, they're also hosting a big bash, but a comic won't be the feature.
The Comedy Shrine: This club, located in Aurora hosts a plethora of events that are sure to leave you laughing! They have a special NYE event, and they also regularly offer family friendly comedy events, like a family edition of "Whose Line is it Anyway?",birthday parties, and Family Time at the Shrine.
