Adding a punch of personality to your home doesn’t have to mean spending big bucks, especially if you’re willing to do some of the work yourself! Each month, we’ll feature easy DIYs that make a big impact. This month, we’re focusing on using an inexpensive embroidery hoop as inspiration to spice up your living space!

  • Embroidery Hoop Wreath: This DIY uses faux greenery and embroidery hoops in a variety of sizes to create a stunning focal point in the bedroom. Erin, from Cotton Stem, provides a comprehensive tutorial for how to build a wreath, and then let your creativity run wild! You can create as many as she did or arrange just a few of them for a subtle look that’s just as stunning. Add flowers for a seasonal twist! Check out the full tutorial here.

  • Quirky Fabric Collage: This quirky and colorful fabric collage, from The Pleated Poppy, makes a statement! The variety of vintage inspired fabrics and the arrangement up the wall is fun and impactful. Use a variety of sizes, like she did here, and choose fabrics that suit your personality and décor style. You could even use lace! Keep the project super inexpensive and reuse fabrics you already have at home!
